FirefightersGround cover fire: The fire turns and a quick retreat is needed (day)
The fire turns and a quick retreat is needed. It happens during the day. As a member of a team, with protective clothing, SCBA if needed, hose lines, extinguishers or hand tools and an assignment, you fight a ground cover fire: threats to property are reported, threats to your safety are recognized, you retreat quickly when needed and the assignment is completed. It is station 4-27 of Ohio's Firefighter I practical exam (NFPA 1001 4.3.19), tested with live fire.
