FirefightersLadder inspection: An extension ladder
An extension ladder. With a straight, extension or roof ladder, a brush, water, lubricant and an assignment, you clean and check a fire service ladder so it is maintained as the manufacturer or the department says, the maintenance is recorded and the ladder is left ready or reported. It is station 4-21 of Ohio's Firefighter I practical exam (NFPA 1001 4.5.1).
