About the NREMT exams
The National Registry of EMTs certifies EMS clinicians in the United States. The EMT cognitive exam is computer adaptive, and EMT skills are verified through a state-approved psychomotor process.
Since July 2024 the paramedic certification is a single exam at test centers that includes a clinical judgment domain.
